Electrical work for home remodels
A remodel changes more than finishes. Moving walls, cabinets, appliances, plumbing, or room uses can change where power is needed and which circuits make sense.
Tell us about your projectPlan before walls close
The best time to settle outlet, switch, fixture, appliance, and dedicated-circuit locations is before rough electrical work begins. A clear layout reduces last-minute changes and helps the electrical work line up with cabinets, framing, plumbing, and finished surfaces.
We review the intended room use and the equipment that will be installed. That gives the electrical layout a real basis instead of relying on guesses that may not fit the finished space.
Work that fits the rest of the project
Remodel electrical work has to happen in the right order. Rough wiring needs access before drywall and finishes. Fixtures, switches, outlets, and final connections come later.
When we handle the electrical portion from start to finish, we can keep the rough and finish work tied to the same plan. Projects we handle from start to finish include a 365-day workmanship warranty after completion.

Before you contact us
When should an electrician become involved in a remodel?
Before the layout is final and before walls close. Early planning is especially useful when cabinets, appliances, lighting, walls, or room uses are changing.
Can existing circuits always be reused?
That depends on the existing wiring, circuit use, new loads, and the revised layout. We need to review the project before deciding what can remain.
What should I send when requesting an estimate?
Send the project address, plans or sketches if available, photos of the current space and panel, and a list of appliances, fixtures, or equipment that will be added.
Have a project in mind?
Estimates are free. Send the project location, a short description, and any useful photos. During our 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. business hours, you can expect a response within two hours. We do not provide after-hours service.
