DIY electrical consultations
A consultation can help a homeowner understand the scope of an electrical project before buying materials or opening walls. It can also identify the point where a project should move to a licensed electrician.
Tell us about your projectUseful before work begins
Electrical projects are harder to plan once materials have been purchased or walls have been closed. A consultation can review the intended result, existing conditions, likely circuit needs, and questions that should be answered first.
Photos, sketches, equipment specifications, and a clear description of the goal make the conversation more useful.
Know where DIY work should stop
Electrical work can create shock and fire risks when it is planned or installed incorrectly. A consultation is not a substitute for required permits, inspections, or licensed work.
If the project should be handled by a licensed electrician, we will say so plainly. The goal is to help you choose a safe and realistic path, not to talk you through work that should not be attempted as a DIY project.
